Top ten best-selling cars in the US, a character-filled list. It’s not surprising that the top three spots on the list of the 10 best-selling vehicles in the US last year are occupied by three pickup trucks. After the pickups, as if the list of best-selling cars were a segmentation by category, SUVs or off-road vehicles follow, and in the third category, sedans appear.

Indeed, the best-selling vehicle in the US was the Ford F-Series pickup truck, which sold an astounding 896,526 units. Ford took the first place, despite a 1.4% decrease in sales compared to 2018.

With 633,694 units, the RAM pickup truck was the second best-selling car. It showed a growth of 18% compared to the previous year, a testament to the acceptance of the improvements made to its models.

Although the Chevrolet Silverado saw a 2% drop in annual sales, it placed 575,600 units in the market and maintained its third position in consumer preference.

While the top three is dominated by American pickup trucks, the best-selling SUVs in the US are Japanese, occupying the fourth, fifth, and sixth positions on this list.

The Toyota RAV4 SUV, which put 448,071 units on the market, experienced a 4.9% jump compared to 2018, solidifying its position as the best-selling SUV in America. It was followed by the Honda CR-V, which sold 384,168 cars on the roads. And then came the Nissan Rogue with 350,447 vehicles sold.

The Chevrolet Silverado, which entered as a wedge to separate the SUV segment from the sedan segment, managed to sell 346,048 cars and claim the seventh position.

Indeed, the first sedan on this list appears in the eighth place. It’s the Toyota Camry, which sold 336,978 units. By the way, it is the favorite car in Florida. Closing this list are the Honda Civic and the Toyota Corolla, which have sold 325,650 and 304,850 units respectively.

This ranking represents the equivalent of the most popular vehicles in the US and was compiled by Motor 1 magazine.
